PvP · 6 leagues · monthly seasons

Beta 0.7.2

Your party fights other players' defence teams for points, and your points place you in one of 6 leagues. At the end of each monthly season, every league pays gold or Crystals by your rank inside it.

Server-side: opponents, your points and how they change, leagues and positions, the season roll-over and the payouts. The client plays back each fight from the server's roll. The numbers here are its display rules; check them in the live game.

Leagues

Among players with 1,300+ points, Legend is the top 1%, Diamond the rest of the top 5% and Platinum the rest of the top 15% (the game's "Top 1%", "Next 4%" and "Next 10%"). Your points, and who counts toward those shares, come from the server.

Rating constants in the client

The client carries rating constants it never uses itself: a base of 1,000 points, K = 32, a 400-point scale, a starting minimum of 500, and a weight of 0.5 for defence results and 0.5 for Shadow fights.

Those numbers fit a standard Elo rating where defence and Shadow fights count half, but the server's real formula is not in the client, so treat that reading as unconfirmed.

Season rewards

A season is one calendar month. At its end each league pays by your position inside it, if you fought at least 10 times that season:

Attacks refill at midnight Brasília time (UTC−3). When nobody is near your points, a Shadow of your own party shows up to fight instead. Friendly challenges move no points.

Fight rules

"Fights use your formation and your opponent's defense as the server last saw them. The server rolls each fight." The client then plays it out:

  1. 1
Walk inBoth sides walk in for 2 s before the fight starts.
  2. 2
FightAll healing is multiplied by 0.5, and every hero's health by the level factor below.
  3. 3
Time limitThe fight stops after 10 min. If both sides still stand, the defender wins.

Attack and defence use your arena formation, or your party if you have not saved one. Each hero can keep a separate PvP build (two PvP presets); without one it fights with its normal build.

Health by average level

The factor depends on the average level of all heroes in the fight, so high-level fights last longer:

Average level10 or lower30405060759095100
Health×0.4×0.4×1.4×1.7×4×7×11×24×30

Between two columns the factor moves in a straight line: an average level of 45 gives ×1.55, and 70 gives ×6.
