What changed in each build
Each build of the game the wiki has read, newest first, with what changed in it. The changes are found by comparing the game's files from one build to the next, so they are complete for what the client contains; anything the server decides is not here. The wiki's data follows the newest build, 0.7.2.
Version 0.7.2
Closed beta 17 October 2026 Steam build 26011487
Stage bosses now grow tougher on the higher maps, and a new level-gap rule makes any boss above your level deadly. The Codex splits its big runes into 5% steps, the Workbench gets a Scroll station and weapon infusions, and the Circle gets Convergence runes.
Bosses and maps
- Stage bosses (stages 1–9) now scale with the stage: ×3 HP and ×1.5 damage up to recommended level 15, rising evenly to ×15 HP and ×3 damage from level 60. Before, every stage boss had ×3 HP and ×1.5 damage, so on Abyss each one now has five times the HP and twice the damage. Maps & stages
- A stage boss's level is now its exact place along the map, up to a third of a level above or below its stage. Maps & stages
- A new level-gap rule for bosses: when a stage or act boss deals or takes a hit, the level gap counts ×1.15 per level for the first 3 levels, then ×40 for every level after that (against regular monsters it is ×1.6 per level after 5). A hero 4 levels below a boss takes about 61 times the damage, and 5 levels below about 2,400 times. Rift colossi and clan beast hunts keep the normal rule. Combat formulas
XP and leveling
- Every kill on Abyss gives 45% more XP: its map XP factor went from 0.944 to 1.369. Leveling and XP
- Levels 91 to 100 cost more: each needs about 21% more XP than the one before, up from about 17.5%. Reaching level 100 now takes 16.48 billion XP in total, up from 14.60 billion. Leveling and XP
Combat
- Fury: a hero now gains a charge only when a hit lands on it. Dodged hits and its own swings give none; blocked hits still count. Charges now fade instead of resetting: one is lost 4 seconds after the last hit, then one every 2 seconds. Combat formulas
- A hero added to the party during a fight joins with every skill on a full cooldown, while the heroes already fighting keep their HP, buffs and cooldowns (before, every hero re-entered fresh). Changing a hero’s skill bar or a rank during a fight ends the effects it had cast and restarts its cooldowns. Skills
- The stage's danger hint now compares the stage with the party's average level instead of its highest hero.
Workbench and crafting
- A new station, Scroll, between Socket and Enchant: it opens at hero level 14 for 16,000 gold and makes a scroll for any of 42 stats or one of 4 infusions. Scrolls no longer need a profession or a specialization. Workbench
- Scroll tiers T1–T5 open by hero level (1, 20, 40, 60, 80) and by scrolls made (0, 5, 15, 30, 50), and each tier is 5% stronger than the one below. A scroll of any tier now works on an item of any level. Workbench
- Weapon infusions: at the Enchant station, an infusion scroll turns 50% (T1) to 60% (T5) of the weapon's physical damage into fire, ice, lightning or chaos. An infusion takes the enchant's place, and while it lasts the hero's Penetration also counts as Elemental Penetration. Workbench
- A spec scroll's extra affix on a forge is 25% of the affix times the scroll's tier strength, and an enchant made with a scroll is multiplied by it. Workbench
- The Professions window is gone. Professions still level from forging, brewing, enchanting and infusing, but specializations no longer do anything and making scrolls gives no profession XP. Professions
- The forge now picks a random jewelry base of the chosen type instead of always the first. Workbench
Codex
- The Codex grows from 289 to 355 runes. The big gold, XP, drop and combat runes are split into numbered copies worth at most 5% each, so a full Codex still gives exactly the same totals (gold +210%, XP +175%, drops +75% and so on). Codex
- Split runes lead into their copies, so the chains are longer: Tribute now sits between Prosperity and Midas, and Mentor between Ascension and Epiphany. Each split rune costs about half as much, and the whole Codex 127.2 million gold (126.8 million before). Codex
- One new rune, the Rune of the Wagon: +1 bag slot at level 34 for 66,518 gold, so the Codex now gives 18 bag slots. The Stash Hall now follows the Warehouse and opens at level 30 instead of 40. Codex
- When a save from 0.7.1 loads, the game adds the new copies that make up the runes it already owned, so its bonuses stay the same. My save
The Circle and the Colossus
- The Circle gets Minor runes of Convergence: its center takes 10 of them, and each colossus's minor runes now go only into its own talisman (up to 10). Before, a colossus's minor runes could also go into the center. Rift & Colossus
- Minor runes from the Colossus Chest can now be Convergence pieces (10% of them); the chest’s other odds are unchanged. Rift & Colossus
- The Circle is one window now: the hunt, a tray of loose pieces and the board. A piece is dragged onto its talisman, and setting it asks twice, since a set piece stays for good.
Chests, shop and arena
- New setting, Loot only for the party: weapons and armour from chests, the Forge and Transmute then roll only for the party’s classes, instead of 80% of the time. Chests & loot
- Crystal packs can no longer be sent to the Steam inventory or redeemed from it. Crystals are still bought in Steam’s own purchase window. Crystal Shop
- Arena replays always play at normal speed, and the season reward table marks your own reward. Arena
- The act chest has new art.
