Beta 0.7.2

Monsters

Every regular monster uses the stats of the stage it is on, whichever species it is.

Stages

The regular monsters of each stage, at exactly the stage's recommended level, and the boss that ends each of stages 1–9. Stage 10 ends with the act boss.

A stage boss has the stage's HP and damage times the multiplier shown: ×3 and ×1.5 up to level 15, rising to ×15 and ×3 at level 60. Gold per kill includes the ×2 gold setting the client ships with, and gold and XP are before bonuses. Item level is that of common chests, which reach the next bracket one or two levels early (why).

Damage units, boss levels, and why bosses have no gold or XP

Damage is in the same units as the Health the game shows for heroes, before the low-level horde scaling that weakens regular monsters below level 17.

A stage boss fights at its exact place on the map, up to ⅓ of a level off the stage's level; the act boss fights ⅔ of a level above stage 10's exact place.

Bosses are left out of gold and XP: no code was found that pays gold or XP for a boss kill.

Act boss

Warden of Echoes on the map screen

He keeps thunderclaps in a jar and lets one out whenever he is cross. Mind the lightning: it is just his way of saying hello.

Stage 10 ends with the Storm Titan. To fight it you need a riftstone of the map you are on, which a win uses up.

From level 15 the boss gains HP, damage and three shields that trigger at 75%, 50% and 25% HP, and each phase after a shield hits harder, up to full strength at level 60. Each level a hero is below a boss, past the first 3, multiplies the boss's damage to it by 40 (see level difference).
