Prices are the client's Crystal Shop list; the game server can move a balloon to another rarity, and so another price.

Getting balloons

The Crystal Shop's Balloons tab sells every balloon but the free one. Each is bought once and belongs to the whole account; the price follows the rarity:

Balloons belong to the account rather than the bag: they can't be sold, and neither the market nor the Steam inventory takes them.

What a balloon does

1. 1
   Pick one for the party The party flies one balloon at a time. Change it from the balloon button on the party screen, which lists the balloons you own and points to the shop for the rest.
2. 2
   The trip to the Colossus When the party leaves for a Colossus hunt, its balloon flies across the world map to the Rift. The map shows other players' balloons on their way too, each in its owner's skin, with your friends marked. A party that falls in the fight gets up and flies back in by balloon.

   At your house Balloons you own wait in the house stash, and up to 6 can stand at your house at once.

A balloon gives no stats: every balloon flies the same way, only the look changes.
