It is only used in combat once it is placed on the hero's active bar, and its 16 s cooldown is before cooldown reduction.

Massacre scales with Attack. Its value at each rank is 78.8 + 22.5 × rank:

The value is the game's internal number for this skill.

in combat = round(value × skill power × max(0.35, hero damage ÷ 600))
hero damage = Attack + all elemental damage
skill power = 1 + 1% per point in the other Brutality skills + 2% per rank of each skill that boosts it

The damage factor has a minimum of 0.35 and no maximum. A hero with 600 damage and no line mastery or synergies gets the listed value; how it becomes damage or healing per hit depends on the skill's type and timing.

How to unlock it

Rank 5 in Crush Tier 4 of the Brutality line.

Hero level 32 at the earliest There is no level requirement, but a hero gets one skill point every 2 levels.

One skill point per rankUp to rank 10.

Mastery and synergies

Line mastery: every point in the other Brutality skills makes Massacre 1% stronger, up to +40% with all of them at rank 10. Its own points do the same for the rest of the line.
