It has no cooldown: it is always on while it sits on the hero's active bar, and does nothing anywhere else.

Values by rank

Aura of Restoration scales with Regen. Its value at each rank is 209.49 + 59.86 × rank:

in combat = round(value × skill power × 1.83 (× 3.76 for a self heal) × max(0.35, hero damage ÷ 600))
hero damage = Attack + all elemental damage
skill power = 1 + 1% per point in the other Auras skills + 2% per rank of each skill that boosts it

The damage factor has a minimum of 0.35 and no maximum. A hero with 600 damage and no line mastery or synergies gets the listed value × 1.83 (× 3.76 for a self heal); how it becomes damage or healing per hit depends on the skill's type and timing.

Rank 5 in Aura of Faith Tier 1 of the Auras line.

Rank 5 in Aura of Restoration opens Collective Blessing.

Mastery and synergies

Line mastery: every point in the other Auras skills makes Aura of Restoration 1% stronger, up to +40% with all of them at rank 10. Its own points do the same for the rest of the line.
